WG 7 Energy provision and energy efficiency

The current climate crisis urges societies to transform into more sustainable living patterns. The provision and demand of energy is a crucial issue in this transformation process; including transitions from fossil fuels to more sustainable energy carriers (supply side). Also crucial is the need to transform demand per capita to lesser energy use (demand side). Different regions of the world have its own energy transition pathway, which is often defined by technological stakeholders, but to add-on to these perspectives, this session aim at exploring: What can the social sciences possibly contribute with in the global energy transition process?  Papers are invited that specifically pinpoint transition trigger tools, and collaborative projects are specifically welcomed.
